Acer palmatum 'Koto No Ito', Japanese Maple Size:.67 qt taken Oct 2024)Koto no ito means 'Harp Strings,' referring to the very fine linear leaves. Spring foliage is pale green changing to medium green in summer then golden yellow in fall. It's an upright tree, dense with a soft appearance, easy to grow and quite heat tolerant despite the finely textured leaves.
