S. issue Spanish American War and WWI issue Collins Model No 1005 Machete, with wood handle and embossed leather scabbard. The machete features a heavy steel, 15 inch curved blade with grips secured with three brass rivets. The blade surface is very smooth, showing typical age staining, but no pitting or damage. The original Collins markings are not visible on the left side of the blade.
