This is an outstanding black leather deck uniform in a variant pattern as worn by lower ranked Kriegsmarine personnel. The jacket, of heavy black leather with a five button front furnished with gold buttons (Overkoff marked on the reverse). Typically black leather KM jackets like this were worn by u boat engine room mechanics as the black didn't show oil stains as easily. It has a stand up collar (with hook
