Recently purchased at an military auction, this is an excellent condition WWII production black finished leather softshell holster for the standard issue Walther P 38 pistol in 9mm. It is the standard "break away" design with a magazine on the front side. The holster is nicely maker marked and dated on the back with gxy 1944. This indicates 1944 production by Gebrder Klinge of Dresden Lbtau, a known holster producer
