Early 19th Century Spanish Pine Chest Hat Two handlesA rustic Spanish pine chest dating to the 1800's. Pieces like these were essential in rural homes, serving as storage for linens and often doubling as seating by the hearth. This piece features a hand forged iron lock plate and hardware as well as stunning dovetail detailing. In great vintage condition, especially given its age. Some areas of wear and discoloration from age and use (as shown in photos). Solid and sturdy. Measures approximately 13"
