What we have here is a 2" x 2" piece of original fabric from the Vin Fiz Flyer

This company was one of the members of the Suhl Consortium

with the right side scale looking to have been worn through a bit next to the ferrule

There is just a bit of oxidation and wear

This is a very nice genuine medal bar, owned by a German soldier who fought and was wounded during WWI, and later saw service in the Civil Sector during the WWII NSDAP period. The ribbons are still in great shape, showing very little fading.
