This is a great full scale rubber M1910 Entrenching Tool as used in the 1998 Hollywood Film Saving Private Ryan. This would have been a "background" used prop tool and not a close up camera version. This entrenching tool was featured throughout the entire movie in the packs of soldiers and is a fantastic piece of film history! The entrenching tool measures roughly 21 1 2 long. It resembles a real shovel very well and
