Germany, HJ. A Member’s Armband, Early Austrian Issue consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac but without obvious damage(HJ Armbinde fr Mitglieder). Constructed of red rayon, the exterior bisected by a white rayon tresse, in turn overlaid by a white rayon diamond bearing a multi piece black mobile swastika, the interior stamped with a partially legible Austrian issue mark, measuring 17 cm (w) x 10 cm (h) when folded on a flat surface and as configured for wear, unstitched demonstrating extensive bleeding of the red dye consistent with moisture exposure, an early
