This is a fantastic example of a nearly unissued German WWII Iron Cross 2nd Class 1939 (Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse 1939) in its original paper packet with original red, black, and white ribbon. The cross itself is a very fine example with crisp beading. The silvering to the frame is still mostly bright, with just a few areas of tarnish, showing that it is real silver. The core paint on the iron center is also
