This is a wonderful example of an earl war class A uniform coat that belonged to a Captain in the Philippine Division. The Captain remains unidentified, and could very well have been a victim of the atrocities committed by the Japanese after the units surrender. Units of the Philippine Division were on security missions at Manila, Fort McKinley, and Bataan prior to the declaration of war in the Pacific, 8 December
