Small Silver-Plated Art Nouveau Repoussé Hand Mirror map in german Travel to a bygone eraA beautiful silver plated Art Nouveau hand mirror, an elegantly faded and timeworn patina with an ornate repouss design. The Art Nouveau movement (late 1800s to early 1900s) was known for its flowing lines and stylised flowers which you can see in the beautiful decoration. The repouss technique is a traditional metalworking process in which the design is carefully worked from the reverse side to produce a richly textured, three dimensional pattern.
