This is a very nice Imperial German reserve forces pickelhaube helmet, most likely issued in the Kingdom of Bavaria. The construction is similar to the Bavarian models, though it is a bit simplified. It has a cross shaped top fitting with a top vent, typical of Bavarian pickelhaube, however it is not designed to take any type of spike or other device. The rest of the fittings are brass, however it does not have any
