A National Association of German Midwives Membership Badge consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac 1937 Karlsruhe Gautag badge(Reichsfachschaft deutscher Hebammen Mitgliedsabzeichen). Constructed of bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a radiant white enameled Geneva Cross, inset with a depiction of a mother and child, surrounded by gilt letters RDH (Reichsfachschaft deutscher Hebammen) and a swastika, situated within a blue enameled ring bearing a gilt inscription of IM DIENST DER ZUKUNFT UNSERES VOLKES (IN THE SERVICE OF THE FUTURE OF OUR PEOPLE),
