This is very interesting, an original Victorian Sword, made for "court attendance with Queen Victoria, belonging to a great hero of the day who became a favorite of the Royal family. Born in 1833, he joined the East India Company army and served during the Siege of Delhi in 1857 and later at the Relief of Agra where he captured an enemy standard for which he was awarded the Victoria Cross for valor. He transferred to the
