An Artillery Sabre, with Engraving, by Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac with the initials "TGM" of(Bayerischer Artillerie Extrasbel). A very well preserved Bavarian Army Artillery sabre, measuring 96 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features an 80 cm long, nickel plated, curved magnetic steel blade which features double sided fullers. Acid etched onto both sides of the blade are inscriptions of IN TREUE FEST (STEADFAST IN LOYALTY), flanked by clusters of oak leaves. The obverse ricasso is maker marked with the classic dual
