An Engineer Volunteers Belt Buckle, C.1890 Newly Listed Lance Corporal in late 1914Three piece construction, Engineer Volunteers insignia in bronze gilt affixed to the base via two lugs and a pin, the insignia domed and consisting of the voided monogram of Queen Victoria in the centre, surrounded by a garter inscribed with the voided text "ENGINEER VOLUNTEERS", the insignia within a full wreath of laurel leaves and surmounted by the Victorian Crown, the voided areas on the monogram and text exposing a black dome shaped plate
