A Royal Naval Air Service (RNAS) Officer's Shoulder Board Auction marked with a large "M"Stiff framed, black wool upper with two rows of rank stripes in gold coloured silver wire, the upper row incorporating a loop, a green, white and brown embroidered pip glued in place above the loop, a brass button bearing the RNAS eagle with the King's crown above and rope border, black cloth backer, 55 mm x 130 mm, uniform worn as evidenced by the threading on the reverse, traces of glue on the upper near the pip, edge wear, better than very fine.
