This is a textbook example of an upmarket Swiss Model 1899 Officer's Dress sword, with a German made blade. The sword comes complete with its scabbard. The blade, scabbard, and all of the fittings are fully nickel plated, making this a very attractive dress sword. The grip is wire wrapped sharkskin shagreen, and in form the sword is quite similar to other officer's swords used around the world at the time. The steel
