Made from heavy burlap cloth, this is a German WWII Issue Wehrmacht Ration Grain Sack, measuring approximately 44 1 2"H x 28"W when flat. A steady supply of food was vital to any fighting force, and sacks were the preferred way of transporting grain, which has not changed much since WWII. The bag has a large stenciled Wehrmachtadler (Armed forces eagle) on one side, while the other gives information about where it
