Prussia, Kingdom. A Rare Warrior Merit Medal, I Class in Gold consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac metal content(Krieger Verdienstmedaille, I. Klasse in Gold). Instituted 11 May 1892 by Kaiser Wilhelm II. (1892 1912 issue). Constructed of gilded silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward facing bust of Kaiser Wilhelm II, wearing a full Garde du Corps uniform featuring a cuirass and lobster tail style parade helmet topped by an eagle, circumscribed by name and title in Latin, the reverse bearing a
