Germany, Ss. A Waffen-Ss Em/Nco’s M40 Overseas Cap GTRexclude Bourlon Wood and Iwuy(Waffen SS Schiffchen M40). A well preserved Waffen SS EM NCOs M40 overseas cap, constructed of field grey wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side walls which are scalloped toward the front. Visible on the peak is the unmistakable outline of an SS style German national eagle insignia which, having been carefully removed, is lost to time. Directly below the outline, the front of the walls similarly demonstrates the careful removal of an SS
