Only One Available. This is a lovely example of the scarcely seen M1908 Horse saddle blanket. The blanket is rectangular and has two stripes of olive brown at each end. A large US and the ordnance bomb (bursting shell) are embroidered in the center. There is no makers mark, but there is a very small name tag stitched on, T. A. BLUNK. This particular type of horse blanket was used from its conception in 1908 to the demise of the horse
