Germany, Luftwaffe. A Radio Operator and Air Gunner Badge, Early and Named Example, by C.E. Juncker Auction dated 29 October 1943 and(Fliegerschtzenabzeichen fr Bordfunker). Constructed of nickel silver, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a pair of lightning bolts, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in position, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked C.
