Schaumburg-Lippe, Principality. A Merit Medal, Silver Grade Auction A Luftwaffe Stalag Guard’s ID(Silberne Verdienstmedaille). Instituted 25 October 1869. (1911 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, the obverse with a leftward facing profile of Adolf II circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with a central coat of arms circumscribed by an inscription of Fr Treue und Verdienst (For Faith and Service), marked on the edge Silber with a content number of 990, measuring 32. 49 mm in diameter, weighing 24. 9 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
