Germany, Heer. A 1944 Campaign Medal For The Spanish “Blue Division” Volunteers In Russia Hold It is coded in red(Erinnerungsmedaille fr die spanischen Freiwilligen im Kampf gegen den Bolschewismus). A round medal die struck in zink alloy, the obverse features a swastika at the bottom with a spray of laurel leaves emanating from each side, a military sword crosses the centre with two shields superimposed on it, these shields are flat topped with a pointed bottom, on the left is the Wehrmacht eagle while the other shows a the emblem of five upward pointing arrows
