We cannot locate an HV marking (high velocity) on the barrel and the bore is clearly Metford rifling so we do not think it was converted for smokeless powder use

This is a rare but heavily worn piece of field gear, a Chinese KMT WWII issue belt rig harness for the C96 Broomhandle pistol. The set consists of 15 pouches meant to hold stripper clips with the ammunition. The belt is extremely worn and damaged with some of the flaps being torn off and others very close to coming off. There is also heavy damage to the leather across the set, and there are no markings we could find.
