Instituted February 23rd, 1748 by King Frederick I. Constructed of silver, gilded silver, and enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross with ball finials, the cross consisting of a scaled surface with an ornate border, along with a circular turquoise enameled medallion bearing three gilded Swedish crowns, along with a vertically oriented sword, the reverse plain, with an intact vertical pinback, marked CFC for manufacture by C. F.
