This vintage Victor Costa dress was purchased at the upscale boutique Lou Rose in the Montecito area of Santa Barbara in the 1980's

She designed everything that bore her name and her collaboration with leather importer

We love the pretty split crochet short sleeves and the crochet along the hemline

There are also some patches that have been hand painted with flowers in orange

1990s Betsey Johnson Bias Cut Red Slip Dress w Pink Flowers & Embroidery Scoop neck This vintage Victor Costa dressThis is a lovely vintage late 1990's or early 2000's Betsey Johnson slip dress in a rich, deep red with pretty pink 3 dimensional ruffled flower appliques and embroidered leaves in shades of burgundy and gold. This lovely bias cut evening dress has pink trim at the top and double straps in red and pink. The straps are adjustable by two inches. We love these easy to wear slip dresses and this one was clearly inspired by the 1920's with it's godet
