Monteux, Pierre - Large Signed Photo Conducting 1958 Richard Wagner as Rosina in Il BarbiereFrench conductor (1875 1964), founder of the Paris Symphony (1928) and very popular both in Europe and America where he developed a large part of his career. Fabulous signed photograph, shown conducting, inscribed, with a short sentiment in French, dated in April 1958. Photograph is mounted on a mat where Monteux signed, and mat is mounted on hard cardboard. Size is 10. 9 x 10. 1 inches, minor rust stains on margins, otherwise in very good condition.
