Germany, Luftwaffe. A Winter Flight Helmet Archive 1885 in Leeds(Luftwaffe Kopfhaube fr Flieger). A Luftwaffe winter flight helmet, constructed of a multi panel dark brown leather shell. The helmet is flanked on each side by leather compartments for the accommodation of ear pieces which have been lost to time. Two integral straps set into the beck of the head fasten closed with functional metal snap buttons for the accommodation of flight equipment.
