The helmet features a Bayern Wappen (front plate) with the motto IN TREUE FEST which means “Steadfast in Loyalty”

During the process it looks like may have been repainted with Pre War Apfel grn (apple green), and the helmet liner looks to have had the leather portions replaced during the interwar period.
