An Officer’s Belt Buckle consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Preston was promoted to the(Kriegsmarine Grtelschnalle fr Offizier). Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath with cut out edges, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, surrounding a central raised fouled anchor on a ribbed background, the reverse with a clip and dual buckles, unmarked, measuring 60 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), demonstrating minor loss of finish and some oxidation to the obverse, in very fine condition.
