In 1513 the Scottish King James IV, in support of his ally King Louis XII of France, invaded the North of England. On September 9th 1513 the Scottish army confronted King Henry VIII's army commanded by the Earl Of Surrey, Thomas Howard, who later became the 2nd Duke of Norfolk. KING HENRY was
