A bronze gilt medal portraying a rampant lion holding a sword with a sunburst in the background, surrounded by a laurel wreath, the reverse bears a Persian inscription, measures 35. 7 mm in diameter, as worn on an original Austrian style green triangular ribbon, in very fine condition.
