Germany, Third Reich. A 1941 Tirol Small Calibre Marksmanship Badge Auction presumably from shrinkage(Tiroler Schtzenabzeichen). Constructed of bronze with multi coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a raised red enameled Tirol eagle clutching a target overlaid by a mobile swastika, flanked by a black enameled date of 1941, above a raised inscription of KLEINKALIBER (SMALL CALIBRE), unmarked, measuring 42 mm in diameter, the swastika has been ground out and there is some flecking of the enamels, in overall very fine condition.
