This is an extraordinary example of an American Revolutionary War Dragoon saber with very lovely characteristics, including a wooden handle and a brass branch guard, which is very telling of the manufacture capabilities of the period. The blade is triple fullered in a way very characteristic of this period. The 34 blade shows heavy oxidation and wear with some minor chipping to the edge of the blade. From the construction
