Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, topped by a Slovak national eagle clutching a fasces, joined together at the bottom by dates 1943 1944, with a central depiction of the Crimean Peninsula on a hollow background, bearing an inscription of KRIM, the reverse with a magnetic metal rivet securing the badge to a leather fob, unmarked, measuring 46 mm (w) x 54
