Clear markings on the sight read-

The rear sight looks to have been replaced at some point

The black leather outer flap is supple and exhibits a surface with moderate cracking at the hinge area

so it was not swapped out

It is very similar in design to John Browning's earlier M1919 Browning machine gun

The set consists of the following: Original WWII issue M1911 leather holster by TEXTAN (Texas Tannery Co.): The holster is in great shape, with only light staining, and still has the original leather leg tie down strap.
