Currently it is contained together with a quantity of lead balls and bullets in 36 caliber in a red velvet lined wooden case and looks to have been stored in this for a great period of time

Each sling is offered in very good condition showing little use and probably just 70 years of storage

On 30 August 1945

The front bears the regimental brass cap badge of a "King's Crown in laurel wreath circle" and over the left ear there is an "LF" either side of a Regimental button motif supporting a black over orange feather hackle

and MZHJ helmet plate which stands for "Moravskou zemskou hasičskou jednotu" which translates to The Moravian Land Fire Brigade
