Seidl, Anton - Autograph Music Quote Signed 1892 [LITERATURE] Monday Morning 26th May 1828Hungarian conductor (1850 1898), who assisted Wagner with Der Ring and the first Bayreuth Festival in 1876; later in his life conducted at the Met Opera and the New York Philharmonic between 1891 and 1898. Fine 9 bar music quote from an unidentified piece signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment dated 1892. Size is 7. 5 x 3. 4 inches, central fold, in very good condition.
