These would be mounted on the belt or cross strap, and the black finish to the box indicates use by the Schutzpolizei des Reiches Metropolitan Police. The box measures approximately 6 1 4" x 4 1 2" x 1 1 2", and is in very good condition, with the leather still retaining the finish quite well. The
