Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse bearing a central raised depiction of St. George slaying a dragon, the reverse bearing a central monogram of St. George ( for , or St. George), the three and nine oclock arms stamped with an award number of 115497 indicating issue to Ivan Naumovich Koval, the six oclock arm bearing an inscription of 3 indicating III Class, unmarked, measuring 34. 05 mm (w)
