The inspiration came from a beautiful piece of stained glass that my mother made

I included a knit sample where I used double-elongated stitches near the top and floret stitches near the bottom

and went aboard

It's a splashed and speckled colorway with all the colors you find in the "eye" of peacock feathers. It has a medium blue background with chocolate, turquoise, sapphire blue, and navy blue.
