Set of Three Wooden “Shaker” Boxes beautiful vintage mirror for bathroom dating from the early 1900sA beautiful set of three small shaker boxes made from bentwood or possibly balsa wood which is a very lightweight. Made popular by the Shakers arrival in America in the 18th century, these beautiful handcrafted boxes were used to store tea, grains, spices buttons and paint pigments. Gorgeous detailed design on the front. One of the small boxes fits within the large box. I love old boxes and have a collection of them in my home. Display them on a
