Still in its original wood frame, measuring 11" tall by 9" wide. A charming rendering showing his very fashionable "bell bottom" pants and large shako helmet. The painting itself is marked Thomas Cane at the top, and 1st Battalion Rifle Brigade at the bottom. The painting itself measures 7 1 8"W x 9"H, and has a watermark or stamp in the upper left corner. A very good research opportunity, as well as a great display piece!
