This is an Exceptionally RARE Prussian Bayonet, made to fit the Dornbuchse M1849 rifles used by Prussian supplied Schelswig Holstein forces, who were rebelling against the Danish Govt. in 18491851. This region had a land border with the German states, and while the Northern was mostly Danish, the Southern portion was mostly German, resulting in several rebellions and conflicts. The rifles and bayonets were taken into Danish
