The lock marked 1870 ENFIELD together with a CROWN over V. R.. The Walnut stock still shows a faded Arsenal Cartouche of a CROWN over Broad Arrow WD surrounded by R. M. and ENFIELD across the bottom. There is also the opposed broad arrows above the cartouche, indicating
