Two piece construction, in bronze gilt with blue, green and yellow enamels, measuring 38 mm in diameter, original ribbon with dual prong pinback, intact enamels, very light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The War Medal was instituted on August 17, 1944 and awarded for distinguished services in support of the war effort.
