Colors vary from light tan to olive green

and is one of the main features that distinguishes the M1A1 Thompson from the earlier M1

Unfortunately

only a small force managed to hold one end of the Arnhem road bridge and after the ground forces failed to relieve them

A genuine part of WWII Hollywood history!
