Original U.S. WWII Paratrooper 2nd Pattern Griswold Bag Dated 1944 - M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, Thompson, M3 Grease Gun MG 42 radial rated at 450 hpOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice WWII issue Griswold bag, also called a Cover Jump, in heavy OD Green #7 canvas. The bag was designed to carry an M1 Garand rifle disassembled into three sections: barrel, stock, and trigger group. The bags were also used to carry the M1 Carbine, Thompson SMG, or M3 Grease gun. The bag was then attached to the T 5 Parachute harness using a carabiner sewn onto the bag. Wartime pictures also show the
